"Already at the age of thirteen I started thinking about the meaning of life and about why we are here. Once I started with yoga this search became deeper and deeper. Yoga has touched my heart and reawakened my desire for inner truth. Yoga has become a way of life for me and it means so much more than just the body-related part of yoga. I love the spiritual aspect of yoga and its philosophical background.
Be it a yoga class, the singing of mantras, meditational experiences or the understanding of ancient vedic texts, which are still valid today and full of wisdom - the uniqueness of yoga for me is that there are so many ways to open your heart and lead to Selfawareness."

Andy

is a yoga instructor in the Swami Sivananda tradition.

"I have always lived an active lifestyle however, through yoga and the help of yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control) and diet, I can keep my body flexible and healthy. I feel that this is the first time in my life that I have been able to achieve this state of health. Yoga is now a part of my every day life and has enriched it tremendously.

Another passion of mine is cycling. For 11 years I worked as a bicycle courier. The last six years I had my own company in Frankfurt. After a long passionate period of mountain biking, I discovered my love for riding and racing bicycles to which I am still committed to today.

My aim here in Ibiza is to connect cycling and yoga because I believe that yoga is a perfect way to relax after cycling…
